Scott Patterson with his son Lucian Nakazato-Patterson, co-founder of Larkin Lane Films.
Scott Patterson is the co-founder and former Executive Vice President of Visual Concepts Entertainment, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive (TTWO). Over the course of 34 years, he helped shape Visual Concepts into one of the world’s leading video game development studios, which became best known for the groundbreaking 2K Sports brand and its flagship NBA 2K franchise. The series has become a global success, consistently outperforming even the highest-grossing films.

Renowned for pioneering advancements in genre defining gameplay, and simulation technology, Visual Concepts set the industry standard for innovation. Upon retiring, Scott pivoted toward his long-standing passion for digital cinema and storytelling. In 2023, he produced his debut film, Go For Grandma, starring Amy Madigan and Justine Lupe written by his son Lucian Nakazato-Patterson. Premiering at the Oscar qualifying AFI Fest and earning multiple awards, the film showcased exceptional production value and marked Scott’s bold entry into the world of filmmaking.

Now, blending his deep expertise in interactive entertainment with his cinematic vision, Scott is launching a cutting-edge R&D initiative through Larkin Lane Films LLC. Centered on a provisional patent and breakthrough imaging technology, this venture is poised to transform multiple industries. Based in San Francisco and headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, Scott is assembling a world-class team to develop a technology with sweeping, real world applications.

This is a rare and extraordinary opportunity to collaborate on something truly transformative. Candidates will work alongside top-tier talent.
